Public telephone, telex and fax facilities are available at the Customers Service Centers (CSC) or at private shops, identified by a sign displaying 'PCO' on green boards/lettering.

Mobile phones can also be obtained from private companies on rental basis for short periods.

Local Land line calls are charged at 3-5 rupees each 5 minutes.

Internet Cafe are available at all major places in the city, including Saddar, 6th road, Commercial market and GPO.
